Promethean Spark International teaches essential life skills to impoverished and at-risk youth worldwide through training in the performing arts, breaking the cycle of poverty by inspiring change from within.
Abuse and mental health issues, substance addiction, depression, declining physical health, pervasive diseases, failing educational systems, and fractured family structures are a few of the multitude of challenges that confront today's youth. These obstacles not only hinder their ability to envision a successful future but also impede the development of essential executive functions, such as cognitive skills, critical thinking, ethics, logical reasoning, and complex problem-solving. Furthermore, many young individuals lack access to crucial life skills training necessary for resilience and success.
The Challenges Facing Today's Youth

Promethean Spark International
Promethean Spark International has been committed to addressing these issues since 2007, focusing on empowering impoverished and at-risk youth worldwide through innovative life coaching programs
Founded by Broadway performer Shaun Parry, the organization’s unique methodology combines dance, fitness, music, and yoga to teach essential life skills such as discipline, focus, goal setting, time management, leadership, critical thinking, and perseverance. Rather than merely discussing these concepts, students actively embody and practice them.
The results speak for themselves: while statistics show that less than 20% of the demographics served escape their challenging circumstances, over 80% of participants in Promethean Spark's programs graduate from school and proceed to tertiary education, apprenticeships, or full-time employment. Through these transformative programs, Promethean Spark is dedicated to empowering youth to become resilient, caring, and productive members of their families and communities.

Promethean Spark International, under the direction of founder and Executive Director Shaun Parry, gave 60 underprivileged youth in Casablanca, Morocco, the opportunity to internalize critical concepts such as discipline, focus, concentration, goal-setting, perseverance, initiative, obedience, respect, courage, confidence, leadership, balance, responsibility, abstract thinking, self-esteem, teamwork, strength, hard work, social accountability, personal accountability, trust, creativity, and clear communication into their lives. Promethean Spark utilized a unique life coaching methodology that created a space for the students to experience abstract concepts and develop these life skills through dance, music, intense physical exercise and a final performance. In just a few short weeks a powerful change took place. Seeds were planted and direction was given. These amazing young people now have a few more of the necessary tools in their tool belt allowing them to reach their potential.
